elcome to SpiritMoves. We are an eclectic improvisation group based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Our vision is to explore artistic freedom and consciousness with music. By forming a resonance with each other and with you, our audience, we aim to create powerful and sacred space for the spontaneous expression of creativity.

Improvisation is a means to dive fully into the moment, into the source of the creative spirit, and bring forth the magic of inspiration through music. Each show is different, each recording a unique event captured on tape.

This highly experienced ensemble of veteran performers include vocals, piano, guitars, flute, cello, bass, drums and percussion. Our original sound encompasses a wide variety of genres, from ambient acoustic soul through world grooves to jazz and beyond. Go to the Audio page and take a listen.
